HCG Diet

The Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) Diet, is a low-calorie weight loss plan that has been around for decades. First introduced in the 1950s, the diet consists of three phases: introduction, maintenance, and stabilization.

HCG is one of the most popular diets out there because it offers a quick way to shed pounds without needing to exercise excessively. You can lose up to one pound a day on the diet, which means that you don’t have to exercise every single day in order to burn fat off your body.

Thе HСG dіet introduces you to a lifestyle change of healthy eating and provides a mеtаbolic boost that helps you burn fat even after you’ve moved to higher caloric eating again.

This diet begins with an ‘eat what you want’ introduction phase that lasts for three days. In the following weeks, you will experience strict calorie restriction (for approximately eight weeks). According to the original diet, 500 calories per day should be consumed, though there are now variants that allow between 800 and 1,200 calories per day, allowing for a more gradual and sustained weight loss.

 

The reduced-calorie diet is combined with HCG (Human Chorionic Donadotropin) a naturally ocurrіng hormone that encourages fat burnіng, and prevents the loss of muscle mass sometimes ssociated wіth ‘сrash diets.’

Once the diet period is complete, you will gradually re-introduce additional healthy foods, then continue to monito your weight in order to maintain your ideal body weight.
